Screen test

 To find a star for our music video we need to conduct a screen test. Here is a video of our class's group audition. We did this as a class.

Strengths of a screen test:

• Can really analyze in detail on each person's star persona. 
• Have an idea on which fits the most in our genre
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of each candidate. 

Weaknesses of a screen test:

• The video goes on to every candidate too quickly, limited ability to analyze each candidate to the fullest
• There may be bias in our side as we may pick someone based on how well we know the, their gender, which are somewhat unfair

SELF REFLECTION:

This screen test was the easiest to do as we just had to sing infront of the camera. I felt very proud that I have been chosen by my group to become the actor/main star of the music video, it was also a very fun part of the project as we got to sing along with our friends. On the more serious side, doing a screen test demonstrates our understanding of how important it is when we do production of music videos. A weakness will be that the recording of this screen test cut 5 minutes of our lunch time.
